Your Subconscious Decides What You See
By Fish Tan of Boost Your IQ
A human being cannot decide what he sees of himself. Instead, the subconscious mind provides a framework for all the things we do see. For example, accdornig to rsceeharch at Cmrbaidge Uinvvertisy, it dseon’t mtetar in waht oderr the liteters in a wrod are, the olny ipremotnt tnhig is taht the frsit and lsat lteeer be at the rgiht pcale. The rset can be a ttoal mses and you can slitl raed it wthouit a plorbem. Tihs is besauce ocne we lraen how to raed we bgien to agnarre the ltteers in our mnid to see waht we ecepxt to see. The hmaun mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by isetlf, but prcsieeevs the wrod as a whloe. We do tihs ucnsiuscoonly whouitt tughhot. And this amazing phenomena does not extend to simply our ability to read, but in all aspects of our life. It is the structures and beliefs of the subconscious which make us interpret and see things the way they are. The more impressions we make on the subconscious, the greater and deeper the mental pathways created. To access these pathways, we only need to resemble the correct impressions, and the brain will do the rest of the work along the pathways themselves. In the example above, what is happening is that a small bit of information is being used to go down the word/grammar pathway, allowing us to read the whole text without an iota of a problem. The other lesson to learn from this occurrence is it means that we should constantly strive to imprint deep positive pathways into the subconscious which are linked to our goals, so we can more easily achieve them. This is through seeding in the subconscious mind when we are mentally calm and silent.
